Workshops and residencies for artists at all stages of their careers. These sessions are led by experienced mentors from a variety of performance and digital backgrounds. These sessions serve as an initiation to explore the ways in which we can continue to tell stories without compromising creative practice or vision.

A range of performances and events that platform exemplary work. We also team up with festivals and arts organisations to provide space for artists to try out new work. By working alongside programmers to showcase digital work we hope to build a sustainable and viable ecosystem for artists.

Neverthere was founded in response to COVID-19 and the Climate and Ecological Emergency. We support artists to explore new technologies or skills that can allow them to meaningfully continue their creative practice in the face of these challenges.

WORKSHOP: CREATING GEOLOCATED AUDIO EXPERIENCES

An introduction to Echoes. Echoes is a digital tool for makers, storytellers and explorers working with geolocated audio and Audio AR. By the end of this workshop, you will be able to make your own audio projects using the Echoes app.

Hosting a rehearsed reading or live performance on Zoom? This session takes you through the step-by-step process of how to optimise your Zoom account for live performance.

Barra Collins and Pete Gunson (Pif Paf & Shedonism) extend an invitation to students to explore how to make uncancellable live performance in the coming year.

NEVERTHERE @ SURGE FESTIVAL 2020

Neverthere and Surge are co-hosting a space, as part of Surge Festival, to showcase live extracts of new outdoor work and performances of innovative digital projects that have emerged in response to COVID-19.

RESIDENCY: ESTABLISH ARTISTS' RESIDENCY

An online residency, delivered in partnership with Surge, designed to give space for established artists to develop new ideas concentrating on the integration of digital technologies and performance – particularly projects that can take place online.
